Hi, I’m Caroline!
I’ve been passionate about photography for as long as I can remember.
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been taking photos of everything - whether it was with a point-and-shoot, a flip phone, or my very first “big-girl” purchase: my iPod. I always found the beauty in tiny details, and I needed others to see the world exactly the way I saw it.
That curiosity only grew when I got my first real camera (my beloved Fujifilm!) at age 16 and took my first high school photography class. I was hooked instantly. Just like when I was little, I took pictures of anyone and anything I could, bringing my camera everywhere I could, capturing all the tiny, fascinating details that were typically overlooked.
After college and a few years working professionally in social media marketing, I finally felt ready to bring my vision to life… and that’s how Elinor & Co. came alive.
Why “Elinor & Co.”?
When I got married, I added the middle name Elinor (a name that means “light”) to celebrate a new chapter in my life.
Did you know that the word photography literally means “drawing with light”? Since light, photography, and my new middle name all go hand in hand, it felt like the perfect way to capture this fresh beginning.
To me, the name Elinor & Co. is personal, subtle, and reflects the way I want to help people see the beauty in their own lives: those little moments, emotions, and connections that make every story worth capturing. Every session is my chance to shine a light on what makes you, your life, and your memories uniquely beautiful.
A Little About Me
I met my husband, Ben, during our sophomore year of high school through our FFA chapter. We started dating shortly after, and have been inseparable ever since. After eight years of dating and three and a half years of living together, we got engaged and spontaneously decided to elope just a few months later on Christmas Eve in 2024. It was quick, simple, and perfect for us.
Together, we have two girls - Patches and Tito.
Patches (black longhair) is our sweet, quiet angel who truly can do no wrong. My husband’s family got her when he was in high school, and when Ben and I moved in together, we decided to bring her with us. She loves napping, hiding in cozy spaces, and having quiet days with her favorite parent (her dad). She’s so smart, she even learned how to spin on command… but will only do so with the promise of food.
Tito (grey shorthair) is the complete opposite (if you can’t tell from her portrait) - our wild, fearless little troublemaker. We brought her home about six months before we got married, and I knew the second I held her that she was meant to be ours. Tito loves stealing scraps from the kitchen and causing tons of chaos wherever she goes. When our little Sourpatch feels like it, she loves cuddling, napping, and giving lots of kisses.
Outside of photography and hanging out with my favorite humans + animals, I love spending time reading, watching movies, baking sourdough and other sweet treats, and doing anything creative. Whether it’s coloring, painting, scrapbooking, or graphic design, I’ve always loved finding creative ways to pass the time!
